October is almost over and temperatures have begun to drop here in
These have been a busy couple of months. September saw Larry go back to school. He is in first grade and is taking a year off of the Chinese Immersion program. After school he goes to Y Care and loves it. He has several friends in the group, and we have to drag him away every afternoon.
September also saw us do a Photo Scavenger Hunt in our neighborhood, which went well;
October was busy as well.
We had a big day on the 23rd. In the morning, we did the Cub Scouts did the Healthy Hike (about 1.7 miles) from Potter Park to Impression 5 Science Center where the scouts got to do several chemistry experiments. After that we had a Pumpkin Decorating event in our neighborhood, which was a rousing success, if a bit messy.
This weekend is Halloween and the site and costume are yet to be determined.
The Holidays are coming up. We plan to head over to Kalamazoo/Paw Paw/Mattawan for Thanksgiving and down to
